What is time? When was the last time you felt time’s existence, pressure or even oppression? Time is untouchable. We surely know what we mean when we speak of it, and we also know that what is meant when we hear someone else speaking of it. What then is time?
    Everyone is to some extent struck by time somehow as it is inseparable from our daily life. Some times we may feel we merely passing the time, and we feel lost time since we cannot catch it. Some times time restrict and limit us in some ways.
    This exhibition catalog captures the notion of how time is expressed through varying forms and features the artwork of six artists: Tehching Hsieh, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Robert Smithson, Olafur Eliasson, On Kawara, Christian Marclay. Accompanied by their work are thorough explanations of the artworks and their relationship with time. Some artists are heavily influenced by time and dedicate their life to the creation of artworks to express time. The narrative of this exhibition catalog will undoubtedly lead to a deeper understanding of time and the shape of time.
